About BladesIIB
Let's Start with the name
BladesIIB is a custom knife shop created by Bud Beets. The Roman Numeral II is for second generation knife maker since my Dad (Marty Beets) also makes custom knives. The focus the last 20 years was on fixed blade knives but a desire to make folders led to the creation of a new lock design, the Triple"B"S (Bud Beets Ball Slide), which was patented in 2021. I currently have 5 folder models using this lock. The Cholla debuted at Blade Show 2022 and the Barrel Box Opener and Saguaro Gentleman's knife debuted at Blade Show 2023. In 2024 I finished the Prickly Pear Razor and a Variant of the Saguaro. In 2025 my first collaboration knife the Bragi Mini Titanium Folder with Midgards-Messer was released.
